Creating something different 

The client lives in a beautiful Victorian house, complete with alcoves typically of this era. While these add to the charm of the house, they also take up valuable space. Though plenty of people choose to embed a few shelves in these alcoves to make more of the living space, our client wanted something a bit different. 

We decided to create a beautiful contrast between old and new by adding a modern twist to this Victorian house. Our bespoke fitted bookshelves and bespoke bookcases storage solutions are beautifully finished and add a truly unique look to any room. 

Increasing storage space 

But these shelves aren't just aesthetically pleasing, they are also hugely practical. Making the most of what could have been wasted space we were able to increase storage for our clients and claim back the alcove space. 

The beauty of custom carpentry like this is that you can have a design tailored completely to your needs. We were able to add an additional 12 rows of shelving to our clients’ room and even finish this with some small draws in the right hand corner.
