Are you looking to have carpentry work done, but not sure where to start? Measuring, understanding what you can do with your space and choosing the right materials can feel like a minefield – so let us do the hard work for you! After a preliminary online consultation, we can arrange one of our expert advisors to come for a site visit, where they’ll be able to offer you their expert advice on how to make the most of your space.
How does it work?
At Solid Carpentry we like to gather as much information as possible about your project, so we can offer you the best advice and create a bespoke design that ticks all the right boxes.
To get the ball rolling, we offer a free online estimate. Through our online form you can provide us with the details of your project, any ideas you already have and which of our services you require. You can also select your budget range to help us get a better idea of what you’re looking for. We’ll then be in touch with a quote, giving you a rough estimate of the cost of your project.
However, if you feel that you would like someone to come over, then we can arrange a face-to-face consultation to get a better idea of the space, and give you a more precise figure. This can be done either on site, or during a shopping trip to look at materials. Our expert team will be able to advise on the following:
- Making the most of awkward or difficult spaces
- Architectural fittings
- The best layout for your property
- Bespoke designs
- Colour schemes and materials
What will it cost?
As stated above, the original online consultation is completely free, and after this we ask for £50 (ex. VAT) for a personal site visit. Please note: the £50 fee will be deducted from your final bill if you decide to go ahead with our services. This fee gets you a one-hour consultation (between 8:00 and 17:00) with one of our expert advisors, a written summary of everything discussed during the meeting and detailed quote for the works.
